Kubota M-Series

E-TVCS ENGINE: The M-Series from Kubota features the advanced E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) engine, a sophisticated indirect injection, liquid-cooled diesel engine which meets EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations concerning emissions. Our multi-valve (two intake valves, one exhaust valve and TVCS) system on M6800/8200/9000 provides for more efficient air intake, which leads to greater power, higher torque rise, faster combustion, cleaner emissions and lower noise.

HIGH TORQUE RISE: The governor and fuel injection pumps are integrated into a single, compact unit to produce an astounding 28% torque rise (26% on M4900/5700). Response to sudden load fluctuations is quick, reducing engine rpm drop. This means these tractors will perform smoothly under virtually any load conditions with less need for downshifting and greater fuel efficiency.
MINIMAL NOISE & VIBRATION: The engines have been designed to be some of the smoothest and quietest available today. Because the dynamic balancers (M6800/8200/9000) have been built into the crankcase, both vertical and horizontal secondary vibrations are minimized.

8F/8R FULLY-SYNCHRONIZED MAIN AND SHUTTLE TRANSMISSION:
Shifting between forward and reverse can now be achieved smoothly and quickly, without the need to stop. The synchro-shuttle lever is located within easy reach of the steering column, for added convenience. Synchronized four speeds of the main shift in combination with Hi/Low range allow 8F/8R speeds. The synchronized four speeds permit "on the fly" up and down shifting. There's never a worry that the engine might stall, even when starting on a slope. Simply start with a lower gear and shift to a higher one. A high top speed on all three models makes for quick transport (up to 21.5 mph {34.6 km/h} on M9000). The optional creep speed kit makes it 12F/12R. (field installed option)
