LIVE-INDEPENDENT, HYDRAULIC PTO:  The Kubota M-Series offers longevity and smooth operation with an independent 540 rpm PTO with a hydraulically actuated wet-type PTO clutch (540/1000 rpm PTO is optional on the M8200/900).  Self-modulating engagement with a light touch means implements like a rear cutter engage smoothly.  The PTO brake engages when the clutch is shut off and securely holds the PTO shaft.  The independent-type PTO clutch can be engaged or disengaged without depressing the

clutch pedal, regardless of whether the tractor is stationary or moving. As a result, mowing, operating hay equipment or conducting such orchard applications as spraying are all made more efficient.  To aid implement PTO hook-up, the PTO shaft can turn sixty degrees with the engine shutoff.  A flip-up PTO cover ensures easy access to the PTO shaft.

LARGE CAPACITY HYDRAULIC PUMP The Kubota M9000 (M8200 optional) boasts an exceptionally large hydraulic pump capacity of 17 gpm (64.3 l/min).  The M4900/5700/6800 and M8200 are equally as impressive at 11 gpm (41.6 l/min).  As a result, the front loader cycle times are short, increasing productivity and facilitating operation.  Unique applications such as a cane cutter in vineyards can work faster and with greater efficiency. AUXILIARY REMOTE HYDRAULIC VALVES The M-Series have a double-acting remote hydraulic valve with detents and self-canceling feature as standard equipment.  Thanks to the optional flow control valve (on specific models), the 3-point hitch and a remote valve may be operated simultaneously.  For example, the 3-point hitch can be raised or lowered while turning the hydraulic motor for such implements as a cane cutter or seeder.  Simultaneous operation can be made between two remote valves, as well.

3-POINT HITCH The category I & II (M4900/5700/6800) and category II (M8200/9000) 3-point hitch provides fast, simple attachment of rear-mounded implements.  The crank-type lift rod and telescopic stabilizers allow simple implement hook-up and adjustment.  The telescopic lower link ends (M6800/8200/9000) further facilitate implement attachment.  Lift capacity is as much as 3310 lbs. (1500kg) on M4900/5700/6800 and 4630 lbs. (2100kg) on M8200/9000 at 24" behind the lift point.
